Fall Home Tour

Oh friends, I am absolutely loving life right now. All the stores are filled with pumpkin everything, the weather has been solidly out of triple digits for a few days, I actually got to see some fall foliage on a recent trip to Temecula and my house smells like pumpkin spice all the time. Every morning now involves a cozy sweater or blanket (mostly because Erik keeps the house set at a chilly 72) and you can bet I’ll have a cup of coffee or two (or three) with some pumpkin spice creamer. Give. Me. All. The. Fall.

Speaking of fall, if you know me you know I kicked off the month by decorating my home with all the fun, festive, autumnal items my family can possibly stand. It totally sets the stage for my birthday when I watch You’ve Got Mail and enjoy my first PSL of the season. Fall will stay up until about two weeks before Thanksgiving when we transition to Christmas. I used to be one of those absolutely no Christmas until after Thanksgiving people, but hey, it’s a lot of work and we all decided we wanted to enjoy it longer than just a month.

Anyway, last year I had dinner at a girlfriend’s house and she asked me to send pictures of my home and all of my fall decor. I sent her pictures and the following week when she decorated she sent me pictures of her home. It was so great to see what she had done and I always love reading my favorite blogs to see their holiday decor, so I thought it would be fun to share some of my own home pictures here.

Grab some festive fall drink, a cozy blanket, maybe turn down the thermostat, and come on a my house, my house a come on…

Welcome

I don't do a a lot of "scary" Halloween but this skeleton felt more cute than creepy.

Erik made this pumpkin tower for me this fall. I love that man. And I love that he loves fall (almost) as much as me.

My office.

My velvet pumpkins that I love are courtesy of a Mix & Match Mama Instagram contest I won last year. I loved them so much I sent them to a girlfriend for a surprise fall gift.

Erik’s grandma gave me this tea set years ago. I think she got it at Cracker Barrel of all places.

Even the dishes have a cute place to dry now.

Costco pillows for the win.

Another fall item Erik made for me. Have I mentioned how much I love him?
